Travis' mom had knee replacement surgery in April and once she started physical therapy we drove her there for a few of her first appointments. During two of those appointments, Apr 18th and 20th, I took Carson and Emmett to a nearby park.
The first day as we left the office I heard a train, so drove over for the boys to watch. How often do you purposely drive to wait for a train to pass!? The irony was not lost on me, but the boys loved it.
To the park!
Emmett wasn't sure about the fireman's pole... so he just jumped. Which of course the dumb point and shoot camera can't capture quick shots like that and with such a drop, Emmett wasn't about to repeat that stunt.
Silly boys
On the see-saw with Mom
Don't you go down that hill Emmett...
Emmett! I said don't go down the hill!
My sweet boys also brought me flowers.
C'mon, Mom! Help me! Push me!
Smile! Well, that's a little cheesy, but I'll take it
You want cheese? I'll give you cheese!
I taught the boys about blowing dandelion seeds.
And it was time to go.
Next visit, more of the same.
Carson finally tried the fireman's pole
And they had lots of fun on the see-saw together this time. Emmett's so big that they're close enough in size for this to work.
These two best buddies are just too fun to watch together.

What great pictures! I've seen some of those play features at parks in Vancouver, where we lived before. I can't wait to visit that park!
What a great see saw with bumpers instead of leg crushers.
More fun! Can I find a tutorial on how to do those moving still-shots? Such a cool idea!
