It's time to say goodbye Halloween. (Okay, so this is mostly a post for my Mom who wants to see some of our decorations.)
Goodbye gazillion static cling stickers all over most of the windows and a few bathroom mirrors. I can't say I'll miss how many of you there are.
Goodbye fun signs on our dining room light
Goodbye cute mini pillow characters
Goodbye happy, dancing skeleton
But most sadly for me, goodbye pumpkin and ghost bells hanging in our entryway.
Seriously, I love these.
Don't they make you smile?
The consolation? I get to keep all the fall stuff up a few more weeks!
I seriously have a wreath fetish.
And I love all the pumpkins and gourds and maize we collected this fall.
Love the star-burst pattern on this corn
And the deep purple red of this one as well as the white with orange stripes pumpkin
But this little maize was my favorite. It's only about 4 inches and has the lovely reds and purples I love.
And of course, I have tons of fake pumpkins inside and my cornucopia, although the witch will have to go.
And all my kitchen cabinets are sporting fall colors
And I love this little piece on my mantle
PS Check out Avery's super cool owl he made in Kindergarten. I love this thing! It's far and away my favorite kid project ever brought home. Mom, you know you wish you had this in your collection, but it's mine! Besides, you have lots and this is our only owl in the house.
So those were some of the Halloween and Fall highlights in the house. Since we didn't have much when Travis was in dental school and didn't want to have to pack back extra stuff anyway, I loved hitting the clearanced holiday stuff last year after each holiday and stocking up. It made this the first year I could really pull out some serious decorations and I was in heaven. I'm crossing my fingers I can find some real goodies (like the Halloween bells!) this year to add to the collection!

I love all of it!!! You house is made for autumn colors. Avery's owl is absolutely awesome! It is defintely a keeper. I just noticed the branch he is sitting on. Oh so clever. Thanks for my own post!
I am checking out your fall colors again a year later. Still beautiful. I just love the colors of fall. Can't wear them but sure can decorate with them. Hope you put the owl up again.
