Saturday night was the Muse concert. I've wanted to see them in concert for years! Back when they announced the Portland show I informed Travis I would be buying tickets to be my birthday present from him.
It was so mind-blowingly amazing!
Silversun Pickups opened the show with a backdrop of 3 large "skyscrapers." When it was time for Muse the skyscrapers' windows slowly lit up then morphed to people rhythmically marching up stairs, stopping together, then people started falling off and disappearing into the dark patches.
Then, dramatically, the curtains were whisked up and there was Muse in the dark patches of the skyscrapers (which were giant screens which alternated lots of crazy graphics and live video of the band members)!
Lasers are a must at a rock concert.
Matt moments
Don't forget a classic rocker pose
"Feeling Good"
Chris and Dom had a section with just them where they spun on a pedestal up on the raised skyscraper while Matt took a breather/swapped instruments etc.

Near the end they dropped giant eyeballs with red confetti inside on us. We were right under one of the drop points but didn't actually get to hit one.
The end.
Loved singing along the whole time. Loved dancing the whole time, they just make you want to move. Loved being part of those moments when the crowd sings and the singer stops to listen.
Most amazing band ever. Most amazing concert ever. Amazing night. Loved it.
