Emmett has been sitting up from his reclined swing all the time now for at least a week (and trying to sit up everywhere else too), but today was the first time we saw him actually try to play with the toys in front of him instead of just staring at them. He's gotten grabby with anything put in front of him when he's outside the swing, so it was just a matter of time before he'd reach out and make that bear spin. I tried to take some video of him, but then he was too distracted by the camera to perform. When Carson saw what Emmett was doing, he thought he'd help out and demonstrate too.Monday, January 5, 2009
